So my question is, can anyone confirm if this is indeed the case? Because if it turns out they're using the regular vanilla version (without the post-launch DLC/Definitive Edition content) for the free January 2021 PS Plus version, then I'll still be completely happy with my purchase, and won't have to try contacting Sony support to get a refund (I know their refund policy isn't the best anyway but you get my point). So my thinking is, since there's no regular version (without the post-launch DLC/Definitive Edition content) that's sold on the PS Store, surely they'd also use the Definitive Edition for the free January 2021 PS Plus version, right? I ask this because I saw some people saying the free January 2021 PS Plus version is the regular vanilla version of the game that is no longer sold on the PS Store. Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Greedfall are. There's only "Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition" and "Shadow of the Tomb Raider Demo". Maneater had a lot of technical issues on PS4, but I can confirm the game looks and runs a lot better on PS5. Now, it seems back in early November 2019, they delisted the vanilla version, and replaced it with the Definitive Edition as when I went to buy it (as well as today), there is no regular version that's just called "Shadow of the Tomb Raider". The emailed receipt from the date I bought it specifically lists it as " Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (Full Game and Add-On Content)". So on November 30th, 2020, I purchased Shadow of the Tomb Raider (Definitive Edition) for $15 when it was on sale for Black Friday. The Definitive Edition of the critically acclaimed action-adventure has been rebuilt for next-gen consoles, featuring an obsessively detailed Lara and a stunningly lifelike world.
